来源：购于伦敦拍卖会此件玉琮平底，玉料坚硬紧致，有鸡骨白色。琮身外表呈正方形柱体，中心则对钻有圆孔，四面正中各琢刻有纵向的凹槽一道，在纵槽两侧凹面上刻出等距的横向凹槽，把琮身分成三节。每节又以四角为中轴，在相邻的两个凸面上对称琢刻出神面纹。玉琮为玉器六瑞之一，是中国古代重要的玉礼器，常用于祭祀，其外方内圆象征天地贯通。玉琮因其具有精美绝伦的纹饰和重要的历史价值，以及巨大的艺术魅力，自古就被嗜玉者所追捧。
