Carved and lacquered in black with brownish hues, depicting the wrathful female demon Hannya. She is shown with expressively curling hair and small horns. Her black pupils surrounded by gilt-lacquer give her a haunted expression showing the deep melancholy inflicted upon her jealousy. Himotoshi through a thick central bridge in the backside.
HEIGHT 5.2 cm
Condition: Very good condition, minor wear to lacquer.
