A mixed group of bronze tools comprising: an elliptical-section flared chisel blade with transverse collar and flat-section tang (found Oxfordshire); a square-section tapering tang with flared, chamfered chisel blade (found north Wiltshire); a large flared chisel blade with expanded neck, square-section tang (found East Anglia); a small round-ended chisel blade with spike tang (found Lincolnshire); a round-section awl with tang; a chisel-head awl; a square-section awl. 101 grams total, 5.5-11.5cm (2 1/4 - 4 1/2"). Property of a Norfolk collector; acquired on the UK art market; ex Michael Nellist collection; previously with John Philpotts, Simon Camm, and Ancient & Oriental; found Oxfordshire, North Wiltshire, East Anglia, and Lincolnshire before 2000.
