Description

拍品取铜为材，呈菱花口形，共八瓣，宽素边，半圆钮。钮外以高浮雕饰瑞兽花卉纹，共有二鸟二瑞兽，两两相对，间以缠枝花卉纹。双兽昂首怒吼，须发飘扬，撒腿奔跑，极具立体感。双鸟神采奕奕，体态丰盈，昂首曲颈。外区菱花瓣中饰有花卉纹。铜镜中纹饰如此细腻者极为少见，且镜体较大，铸造工艺精湛，纹饰繁复华美，保存完好，品相上佳，当为此类镜中之极品。参阅：纽约佳士得2012年春季拍卖会，lot1447 唐 瑞兽纹葵花式镀银铜镜。
