增长天王为护世四天王之一，是佛教十二诸天的第一重天，“增长”意为能传令众生，据说能令他人增长善根，故得此名，负责守护南瞻部州。，手中所持宝剑能断烦恼，增智慧。此尊天王头顶宝冠，双眉倒竖，慧目圆睁，相貌威严。身披铠甲，帛带绕于肩臂，右手持宝剑，站姿挺拔。天王选用精铜打造，造型生动，细节刻画精细，尤其头部，是清代天王造像中精品之作。
