此壶呈钵式，选用朱砂为胎，泥料精炼细密坚致，内掺熟砂而成。整器造型饱满，气度雍容，造工颇精，壶流腴美坚挺，执把壮实蓄劲，尤为精妙。此壶选泥考究，泥料颗粒隐现，宝光宜人，抚之手颗粒感极其饱满，虽历经岁月壶盖早已缺失，但就其制作功力来说依旧是同时期作品中的佼佼者。
