款识：签名“徐善” 徐善徐善，1946年生，江苏武进人。自幼随著名国画家魏紫熙先生学画。1969年毕业于苏州大学外语系，1987年调入江苏省国画院。历任江苏省国画院艺委会委员、傅抱石纪念馆馆长。现为江苏省国画院国家一级美术师、傅抱石纪念馆艺术顾问、中国美术家协会会员。学术专著有《傅抱石山水画技法解析》、《魏紫熙山水画技法解析》、《画傅派山水》、《傅抱石谈艺录》、《漫议傅抱石作品鉴定》、《金陵名家山水画技法解析》等以及徐善山水画集多种。此件拍品《听松观瀑》为其傅派山水的精品。满纸烟云浮动、流泉飞溅，在大笔纵横恣肆、水墨酣畅淋漓间刻画了一群高士在泉边亭下把酒言欢、纵论闲谈的情境，画面气象高古蕴借、笔墨洒脱灵动，令人感受到一派盎然雅趣、抱石遗意。
