长13cm；宽8.5cm；高8cm；重1635g
「世古」款炉精铜铸造，入手沉稳凝重，叩击声音清脆。长方形体，平口斜直壁，两侧戟耳，直角形四足，形如马槽。光素无纹，为自然天成之蜡茶色，色泽古雅。「世古」款，字体稚正章矩。古代铜炉形制依「天圆地方」之传统观念而制，其中又以取「天圆」者多，取「地方」者少。马槽炉长方形状，因形似马槽得名。明代宣德年间，为满足皇帝玩赏香炉喜好，御匠参照宫廷内藏的定、汝、哥、钧等名窑瓷器款式以及《宣和博古图录》、《考古图》等典籍，设计和监制铜香炉。本器为清人仿明代宣德炉所制，铸铜沉实，端正肃穆，古朴中可见斑斓之感，恰如文人风骨。
