瓶撇口，溜肩、弧腹，瓶身通景绘就云龙图，画中苍龙翻腾于云雾之间，气势磅礴。龙鬃髪横批，双睛怒张，身躯矫健有力，五爪锋利无比，视之威风凛凛。整幅画面极富动感，张弛有度，风格凌厉恢弘，虽为瓷胎彩绘，却有不输水墨国画之造诣，画意直透瓷胎，酣畅淋漓。其画借鉴南宋画龙名家陈容之技法，以青花烘染云层，层次渐变，若有若无。釉里红烧制过程复杂，须准确控制窑炉火候及温度，成品难得。经高温还原焰所出的红色，向为吉祥喜庆之兆。此件釉里红灯笼瓶，器型硕大规整，烧成难度极高，保存至今甚为难得。
