Three Sèvres coffee cans and saucers (gobelets litron et soucoupes) date codes for 1786 and 1787, one painted by Mme Buteux with a narrow band of continuous convolvulus enclosing a yellow ground with small scattered sprigs, another smaller and similarly decorated by André-Vincent Vielliard, with polychrome flower garlands enclosing a mustard yellow ground with scattered flowers, the last decorated by Mme Noualhier with scattered blue flowers on a yellow ground, the rim with puce monochrome scroll borders, blue interlaced Ls marks with date letters II and KK and varying painter's marks, 13.5cm max. (6) Provenance: the last can and saucer formerly in the Hector Binney collection.
