Chinese Ming Dynasty Period, JiaJing wucai figurative motif porcelain fish pot. Finely potted in the shape of fish pot, having thick potted body, large and sturdily potted in a bulbous body, gently tapered on shoulder toward prominent straight neck with wide opening, raised on short splayed foot base. All reserved in hand painting ornamentations, rendered in clean white under glazed ground color which contrast against the wucai design color. The exterior adorned with some elder figure in various pursuit on a meadow among flowers blooms, fresh foliage, the rocky hill, among scrolling ruyi clouds and vapors. The neck decorated with Geometric pattern and auspicious Chinese ornament. Each section part banded and enclosed with double fine rings. The Lines of the drawings are clear, the light and dark shades are subtle. The colors are harmonious, elegant and exquisite, the composition is sophisticated, simply a feast for the eye. The upper mouth rim reveals the cut edges during the making process left unglazed with grayish creme-brown ground and dark spots of firing marks.
