RICHARD BULL (IRISH fl. 1777-1809) A double sided portrait miniature of an unknown Gentleman and his Son, the father with white hair and large bushy black eyebrows, the son with short brown hair and side whiskers The former signed with initials RB on the obverse and indistinctly dated 17 ? He exhibited miniature portraits and portraits done in hair at the Society of Artists in Ireland exhibitions in 1777 and 1780. In 1790 he went to London where he continued to have fashionable clientele. Amongst his patrons were George Prince of Wales, Frederick Duke of York and Lord Nelson
