The bronzes are gilded. The vase bodies are spherical with a throatily indented round base and a high, upward widening neck. Gilded bronze base with laurel wreath, the lip with acanthus leaves. The black-ground varnish, including mother-of-pearl and gold tinsel, shows Chinese landscape motifs and figures, all around the body of the vase and the neck. (1221367) (11)
