Three leaf feet with upright fluted, centrally tapering legs with plastically carved putto trimming, arranged around a balustrous central shaft. The frame is finished with textile lambrequin, which is partially set and gilded and decorated with plastic tassels. Profiled top panel with central micromosaic do with inlaid micromosaic depictions of Pliny's doves and Roman monuments such as St. Peter's Square, Castel Sant'Angelo, the Colosseum and the Roman Forum, each surrounded by a malachite ring.
