In an interior with window Mary lying on her deathbed with her eyes almost completely closed in the circle of the apostles, holding a long candle in her left hand. Facing her is a priest in a white cloak with a holy water feather duster. On the left side of her bed a man kneeling on the floor reading from a book opened in his hands. Above the end of the bed a red curtain, which is pulled together, reveals a priest with a chalice on the left.
On the other side of the panel the full-length depiction of three saints with nimbs, with the Church Father Jerome in red robe and cardinal's hat at the centre. He is currently turning towards a lion, which is considered his attribute. To his right, St. Martin, who is sharing his cloak with his sword to give it to a beggar kneeling before him. On his left side could be St. New Year's Eve with a papal tiara and a large cross staff, holding the Bible in his right hand and a small bull at his feet.
