In beautiful old gold frame with relief decoration.

Like almost without exception all his still life works, the high bouquet of flowers is shown in front of a dark background, even within the floral representation muted in colour and rich in shadows. The metal vase, on a table top with a retracted cover, shows rich ornamentation, the handles in snake form, and at the front a relief with figurative representation. Next to the large vase is a small glass vase with a twisted high neck and a jasmine flower stem with leaves inside. The flower still life is largely symmetrical, in high painting quality corresponding to that of the artist. (12221126) (11)
