In rock crystal, gilded bronze and enamelled decoration. Base vaulted in an oval, surrounded by a stepped double enamelled frieze in the form of a fruit wreath. The shaft is surmounted by volute-like braces and enamelled drops hanging from them. The equally oval bowl, like the foot bowl and the inner lid bowl, is ornamentally decorated. The pointed front side is decorated with a coat of arms. The lid in the shape of a sea monster with a high-swinging leaf-shaped tail and walrus teeth. All marginal mountings in floral and fructal enamel painting. The style is based on late Renaissance art chamber objects. (12211321) (11)
