Depicted is the muscular naked Hercules, only the fur of the Nemean lion around his left shoulder, held by a strap running across his chest. In his right hand he holds a large club. He wears the head of the slain lion as a helmet and holds on his left arm the king's daughter Deïaneira, dressed in a wrinkled robe. They are on a raft to cross a river. On the lower right kneels a man holding an oar in his left. Base torn several times and rest. The right lower leg Hercules with missing part, also the leg of the man kneeling on the ground dam. Minor missing parts at the club and at hands and feet. Isolated marble, slightly dam. (1220807) (18)
