Ebonised slim high rectangular case with segmental arch finish. The central door is flanked by two strong pilasters with volute capitals, with lion heads applied in silver above them. Plinth with a small central thrust, side panels and surface of the central door enamelled in silver-blue with arabesque decoration. Oval medallion in enamel applied to the door depicting a bust of a woman with a gilded, wide-margined hat in a floral frame. The clock face in a round frame in the segment gable with Roman hours. The numerals are applied, the finely chased and openworked hands are gilded. Movement with brass back plate visible on the verso. Anchor movement.
