View of the place at the south side of the parish church with some women, at a stone fountain, in conversation. Behind the fountain the street with stone pavement leads further past a house front to the front of the church with market place and numerous stalls. Several staffage figures enliven the scenery. The light falls from the right on the depicted city view and illuminates the church and casts partly large house shadows. Picturesque reproduction of the famous town. (1221283) (18)
