On the sandy beach of a simple Italian village, with church and high church tower, a fisherman with blue jacket and red headgear, saying goodbye to his wife and the small child he holds in his hands. A sitting dog is watching attentively this family idyll. In the background several anchored sailing boats and a fishing boat, which is just being pushed into the water by two men. Another standing man seems to be waiting for the father of the family. To the left the view falls on the still hazy sea, with some sailing boats under a high cloudy sky. The first rays of sunlight fall on the place and announce the beginning of the day. (12205630) (18)
