A silver-gilt bifacial icon pendant comprising two concentric rings with coiled wire joining them, ropework rim with eight radiating lobes, each a cage and knop finial; to the centre a square plaque with cloisonné enamel portrait to each face, one a bearded image of St. Peter with two long keys, the other Mary with the infant Jesus. 102 grams, 12.8cm (5"). Property of a central London collector; acquired from a large private collection formed in the 1980s.
