A group of five calligraphic items comprising: a large carnelian bead, domed face with calligraphic text, pierced; an oval agate(?) intaglio with calligraphic inscription on a floral background, erased text to the reverse; an agate intaglio with inscription to the flat face on a pointillé background; a heart-shaped pendant with calligraphic inscription on a floral background, pierced for suspension; a white metal mount with two suspension lugs, inset with calligraphic intaglio. 104 grams total, 28-53mm (1 - 2"). Property of a Middlesex collector; acquired on the London art market before 2000; formerly in an old English collection. [5]
