A William IV chalcendony set gold cased fob seal, circa 1835, the chalcendony intaglio engraved with a reclining lady, a bottle of wine, a whip, a sporting rifle crossed with a fishing rod, and a horse and dog with the inscription 'Sine Qua Non', perhaps meaning 'without which [there is] nothing', in a chased foliate mount, attached to a later fancy cable link long chain with dog clip clasp stamped 9, the chain 144cm long, 46.1g gross Condition Report: Overall the seal is in good condition with no apparent chips or nicks to the chalcendony, and no visible damage to the mount.
