Since then, he had published numerous comics on newspapers and magazines, featuring caricature. He was the former vice president of China Artists Association, deputy to the National People's Congress and a member of the CPPCC. His representitive works are Exhaustion, Inducing a Dog by a Meat Bone and The Tree Planted in 1939.
