Acquired by Qin Wenjin, grandson of Qin Zuyong who is a famous painter and seal engraver in Qing Dynasty, from Yiyuan Zhenshang Society in Shanghai. 41×28cm RMB: 20,000-30,000 潘玉良 1895年出生于江苏扬州市。于1918年就读上海图画美术院（后改为上海美术专科学校），师从朱屺瞻、王济远。1923年又进入巴黎国立美术学院学习。1929年潘玉良归国后，曾任上海美专及上海艺大西洋画系主任，后任中央大学艺术系教授。1937年旅居巴黎，曾任巴黎中国艺术会会长，多次参加法、英、德、日及瑞士等国画展。 Pan Yuliang was born in Yangzhou, Jiangsu Province in 1895. In 1918 she studied in Shanghai Academy of Fine Arts under the instruction of masters like Zhu Qizhan, Wang Jiyuan, and she was selected to study at école Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-arts de Paris in 1923. After returning to China in 1946, she taught at Shanghai Art University as director of Western Painting Department, and served as a professor of Art Department of Central University. Pan returned to Paris in 1937 to live and work for the next 40 years.
