财宝天王即北方多闻天王，在藏传佛教中，此尊职掌人间财富与福禄的分配，能够满足虔诚信徒在资财方面的祈求。天王头戴宝冠，面庞丰肥，眉毛粗犷，怒目圆睁，颌下蓄须，呈现出无比忿怒的威严天王相。身披铠甲，左手托吐宝鼠，右手持胜利宝幢，为其标志形象。足蹬战靴，横坐于雄狮身上。其坐骑为一趴卧的狮子，回首咧嘴，造型生动。下承覆莲式底座，上下沿饰连珠纹，莲瓣尖端略有卷翘，排列整齐，挺拔秀丽。整像镀金亮泽，做工精致，铠甲、坐骑等细节均刻画写实，尤其是此像的莲座样式受到明代永宣宫廷造像风格影响较多，反映了明代的汉藏艺术交流。更兼此像持物完好，品相上佳，殊为珍贵。
