A cast mount formed as a female bust, possibly the Roman goddess Minerva or Greek goddess Athena; she is looking left, wearing a troubled expression and dressed in military attire, hair radiating out from beneath crested helmet, representations of scaled skin on cuirass, strap work collar across the chest and cupping breasts, featuring a central element. 33.4 grams, 41mm (1 1/2"). From a private collection; formerly acquired in the 1990s.
