A South German sculpture of Christ blessing, late 17th century The fully sculptured statue carved in lime wood (?), the arms attached separately. A depiction of Christ resurrected, with visible stigmata and wide, flowing robes. His right hand raised in blessing, the left hand holding a staff, which has been lost. Mounted on a small oval plinth. Two wrought iron fastening rings on the back. Height 79.5 cm. Condition: II - III Condition Report: A restored tension crack running diagonally across the torso. The right arm broken and restored at the elbow, the right hand and fingers also broken and restored. The staff is missing. Condition: II - III Skulptur des segnenden Christus, süddeutsch, Ende 17. Jhdt. Vollplastisch geschnitzte Figur aus Lindenholz (?) mit angesetzten Armen. Darstellung des auferstandenen Christus mit sichtbaren Wundmalen, und weitem, stark bewegtem Mantel. Die rechte Hand segnend erhoben, mit der linken einen fehlenden Stab haltend. Auf kleiner ovaler Plinthe. An der Rückseite zwei schmiedeeiserne Befestigungsösen. Höhe 79,5 cm. Zustand: II - III Condition Report: Restaurierter Spannungsriss, diagonal über den Torso. Der rechte Arm am Ellenbogen gebrochen und restauriert, die rechte Hand und Finger gebrochen und restauriert. Stab fehlt. Zustand: II - III
