炉呈冲耳三足圆鼎式，敞口，厚唇，口沿对铸双立耳，扁圆腹，下承三柱足，造型稳重凝练。炉通体错金银纹饰。双耳及口沿错银饰回纹，腹外壁以错金银饰饕餮纹。此炉造型古朴，腹部饰饕餮纹，以错金银工艺点缀饕餮面部，勾勒纹饰线条。三柱足上饰有蕉叶纹，线条挺拔，繁密流畅，极见精巧，仿作商周之鼎而作，错金银装饰整饬绚丽。整器形制规整，用材精良，难能可贵。
