此件青铜罍，敞口，弧颈，丰肩，高腹，圈足。肩部两侧置兽首耳，并饰以六组太阳圆涡纹，腹部一侧下部有兽首鼻钮。整器器型庄重圆浑，古拙厚重。本器保存完好，光泽可人，器形端庄浑厚，纹饰刻画生动，是一件难得的青铜罍佳作。罍流行于商末至西周，绝于战国晚期，是我国古代大型盛酒器和礼器。《尔雅·释器》注：“罍形似壶，大者受一斛”。罍的器形，始见于商代晚期，分方形和圆形两种，数量并不太多。
