此摆件造型线条浑厚且不失灵动，白玉圆雕双鹿四足曲肢俯卧，口中衔芝，双鹿一大一小作母子依偎状，颇显灵动可爱。双鹿衔灵芝是乾隆宫廷尤受欢迎的玉雕题材，雕作双鹿母子者，不仅富福寿多禄的吉祥寓意，更具舐犊情深的生动感。此摆件存紫檀石草纹木座，视其雕刻风格亦是乾隆宫廷器座，故本品原应是宫中旧陈。
