（一对） 此拍品为明早期铜雕塑之佳作，尺寸适中，铜质精良，铸成对狻猊之形，侧首卷尾，兽头朝向相同，应为供案两侧的陈设之器。整体雕刻生动、精美，状物有神。通体包浆古润，成对保存，极为难得。宗教场所摆放成对圆雕走兽的做法，自唐代已有之，通常使用白石、青石等材质，明代早期亦有寺庙门口摆放金属圆雕走兽，例如山西太原文庙之“洪武辛未晋府造”铁狮。此对拍品为成对的狻猊圆雕，体现了明初高超的雕塑水平。“狻猊”为传说中的龙生九子之五，形似狮子，喜静，好坐和喜欢烟火，故多饰于炉具。据徐兢《宣和奉使高丽图经》记，其“上为蹲兽，下有仰莲承之”者，即为带有狻猊形象的香熏。
