铭文：琅邪王世贞印款：郎邪王氏家藏此件拍品为端石随形凿就，受墨处平滑，砚面一侧作卷云纹装饰，顺石纹随形而成。砚底刻铭文“琅琊王世贞”，并作“琅琊王氏家藏”六字篆书印。抚此砚，石质细腻，色泽紫中泛红，砚侧一处鸲眼，实为佳材。卷云纹饰流畅，款识字口清晰，书体秀妍，为此拍品平添文房雅趣。 王世贞（1526－1590），号凤洲，又号弇州山人，南直隶苏州府太仓州（今江苏太仓）人，明代文学家、史学家。王世贞独领文坛二十年，着有《弇州山人四部稿》、《弇山堂别集》、《嘉靖以来首辅传》、《艺苑卮言》、《觚不觚录》等。
