A vellum leaf from a Latin bible, each side with dense lettre bâtarde text in two columns of 44 lines; black ink text with red and blue versals; one side with red and blue title 'PET I' (indicating the First Epistle of St. Peter the Apostle) and illuminated capital 'S' in red, blue, green and liquid gold with foliage detailing; marginalia additions, drypoint layout grid and lines. 1.05 grams, 16 x 11 (6 1/4 x 4 1/4"). Ex Piasa, private UK collection; accompanied by a copy of part of the Piasa invoice dated 16 April 2007 and information sheet.
