A parcel-gilt silver mount with rectangular slot to accept a strap; low-relief image of a crouching figure gripping the frame of the slot with both hands, head turned to the left, legs wearing ruched coverings spread ro each side, bird-head(?) above each knee. 10 grams, 35mm (1 1/2"). From the family collection of a UK gentleman, by descent in the early 1970s; previously acquired before 1960. [No Reserve]
