Leon Underwood, British 1890-1975- African woman, c.1940s; oil on canvas, bears remains of label attached to the reverse, 50.5x40.5cm, (ARR) Provenance: Purchased directly from the artist in 1940's when the father of the current owner was working in West Africa and became well acquainted with the artist. Note: The family has confirmed the authenticity of the painting, based on photographs provided. Please refer to department for condition report
