A George III satinwood work table, circa 1810, in the manner of George Sheraton, the octagonal hinged simulated marble top above a line inlaid frieze, on tapering outswept square legs, joined by an X-shaped stretcher, 75.5cm high, 48cm wide, 36.5cm deep Condition Report: Marks, knocks, scratches and abrasions commensurate with age and use. Some old minor chips and splits. The simulated marble with the expected craquelure and small chips. The interior previously divided, now lacking the divisions. Old neatly executed glued repair to split through one leg. Filler used to help disguise fixtures between stretcher and legs. Please refer to additional images for visual reference to condition.
