Y A George III silver brandy pan and cover by Robert Sharp, London 1794, with an ivory button finial to the shallow domed cover, the baluster body with a side turned wood handle, engraved with a crest, 26.5cm (10 1/2in) long, 634g (20.4 oz) gross The crest for ETY and PILKINGTON. Condition Report: The pan sits well on a flat surface and does not wobble. No dents or bruises to the body, with surface scuffs as expected. The lid does not fit fit flush with the pan. The wooden handle is probably a replacement with a gap at the join and wobbles. The crests are slightly rubbed but still clear. The hallmarks are clear, crisp and readable. The ivory knop is heavily crazed and cracked. Condition Report Disclaimer
