A George IV silver gilt circular dessert basket by William Eley & William Fearn, London 1823, the overlapping wirework sides everted at the top, an applied fruiting vine band, on four bracket supports with flowers and scroll foliage, on paw feet, 26.5cm (10 1/2in) diameter, 904g (29.05 oz) Condition Report: Maker's mark partially obscure, other marks are clear. Stands well and does not wobble. Gilding good and very bright, possibly re-gilded. Some light scratches and wear commensurate with age and use. No visible damage or repair. Condition Report Disclaimer
