An early Victorian silver octolobed salver by John Samuel Hunt, London 1845, stamped Hunt & Roskell late Storr & Mortimer 2103, the reed and ribbon rim with leafage, engraved with a band of flowering scroll foliage and with an unidentified crest, on four openwork shell feet, 37.5cm (14 3/4in) diameter, 1347g (43.3 oz)
