A mid 19th century Italian micro mosaic plaque, circa 1850, possibly from the workshop of Michelangelo Barberi, the oval panel of a King Charles spaniel lying on grass in a landscape, in a black glass surround, 3.5cm x 4.5cm, in a fitted red leather case with a glass over the micromosaic Provenance: loose ticket stating P. F. £22 June 1966 Portobello. Condition Report: No cracks, chips or damage to the micromosaic or the domed glazed cover which appears original to the case, there are some small chips to the corners of the black glass setting.
