A Victorian diamond flower head brooch, circa 1880, the flower head pavé set with old mine cut diamonds, with rose cut diamond set stamen, approximately 3.73 carats total, with later brooch fitting, 3cm wide, 10.8g gross Condition Report: The principal diamond is estimated to weigh 0.71 carats, colour estimated H-I, I clarity, there is a surface reaching fracture across the table and some smaller pin point inclusions, assessed in setting. There is some glue around a couple of the diamonds. There is lead solder around the tops of the folded petals trios of holes have been filled in holding the folded sections to the main panel.
