A gold coloured and Swiss enamel bracelet watch, no. 47322, circa 1860, unmarked, verge fusee movement, undersprung three armed balance, pierced and engraved balance cock, disc type regulator, silver engine turned dial, Roman numerals, blued steel minute hand, winding aperture at 2 o'clock, two piece hinged case, with black enamelled scrolled foliate swag decoration and white enamel highlights, to a similarly decorated baton and pierced scrolled link bracelet, to a concealed clasp under the watch head, accompanied by a conforming key, diameter 56mm Condition Report: Movement is not currently functioning. Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible when viewed under a 4x loupe. Dial appears to have noticeable marks and scratches. Hands show noticeable marks and tarnishing. Hour hand missing Glass has some scratches and marks when viewed under a 4x loupe. Case hinge good. Goldwork on the case minor scuffs, scratches and bruises. The enamel in good condition, with some minor losses. The bracelet - links nearest case are dented, bracelet enamel overall in good condition, with some losses and chips to each link. Back of two links with led solder repairs and later strengthening bars. No apparent re-enamelling. Clasp functioning. 65g gross This lot does not come with box or papers.
