A George II walnut and crossbanded chest of drawers, circa 1740, the rectangular top with moulded edge, above two short and three long graduated drawers, on bracket feet, 95cm high, 91cm wide, 51cm deep Condition Report: Marks, knocks, scratches and abrasions commensurate with age and use. Old chips and splits. Some additional dark marks to top. Side of one drawer replaced. Later supporting blocks and rear board to the feet. Some old repairs to moulding of edge of top, with old wax/filler used in places. Handles and locks later replacements. No key present, all locks are open.
