A George III mahogany press cupboard, circa 1760, in the manner of Thomas Chippendale, the top with moulded edge above a pair of panel cupboard doors, opening to five sliding tray and a long drawer, flanked by a brass carrying handle to each side, on shaped bracket feet, 166cm high, 128cm wide, 66cm deep Condition Report: Marks, knocks, scratches and abrasions commensurate with age and use. Some old chips, splits and small losses. One sliding tray is lacking. Later supporting blocks to the backs of the feet. Some evidence of old worm to underside. Old repairs to backboard. Some small sections of replacement moulding and some sections re-stuck. No key present, lock is semi-open and catches on the opposing door slightly.
