Y A Ceylonese ebony pedestal occasional table, mid 19th century, the circular top with central ivory inlaid four point star, above the baluster turned stem, headed by pierced foliate moulded spandrels, on four scrolling and tapering cabriole legs, on turned ball feet, 74cm high, the top 33cm diameter Condition Report: Marks, scratches and abrasions, old chips and splits comensurate with age and use. some old losses. One screw put into the centre of the stem. Some carved area of the stem detached have been re-glued into position neatly. The edge of the circular moulding at the base of the stem with chips of old loss. The inset section to the centre of the top incorporates two opposing ivory elements and two opposing bone elements.
