Ca. 100-300 AD. Roman. A restrung necklace of beautiful tubular semi-precious carnelian beads spacced by small, round metallic beads. This necklace is just as beautiful a statement piece today as it would have been during the Roman period. Beads were an important part of Roman women's dress.
