A GEORGE II SILVER TANKARD, by John Payne, London 1752, of baluster form with graduated and banded domed cover, hinged with triple C-scroll thumb piece, large scrolling handle with heart-shaped terminal, raised on a spreading circular foot, engraved with armorial to front of body above a girdle band. 19.3cm high (to top of thumb-piece), 24.1 troy ounces The absence of a Condition Report does not imply that a lot is without imperfections.
