Condition Report: Marks, knocks, scratches and abrasions commensurate with age and use. Old splits and chips. Some sections of replacement veneer. Lockplates to four upper drawer have been removed and replaced with blocks of timber. There is some variation in the construction of one upper drawer - it is shorter in depth and the dovetails are noticeably shorter in size. It is possible this drawer is an old replacement with the original veneers re-applied to the front. Some later moulding applied to interior of drawers. Handles are 18th century replacements. Locks to two lower drawers appear original. No key present. Feet are later replacements but match the colour well. Backboard are old replacements.
